For College Sophomores, Juniors, & Seniors
Ag Discipline Scholarship – This scholarship is available to college students in agriculture-related degree programs. The $2,000 scholarship is for sophomores, juniors, and seniors in college pursuing a field of study related to agriculture. Up to three scholarships will be awarded.
Raymond & Frances Katz Ag Scholarship – Established in memory of Raymond & Frances Katz, this scholarship is open to students enrolled at the University of Illinois as an Agricultural and Consumer Economics (ACE) major (accounting, agribusiness, farm management, finance, consumer economics, environmental economics, or policy). One $2,000 scholarship will be given annually to a sophomore, junior or senior at Illinois.
James E. Montgomery Ag Scholarship – As a tribute to their father, the James E. Montgomery Ag Scholarship was established by family members to honor his farming heritage. This scholarship is available to college sophomores, juniors, and seniors and trade school students in an ag-related field of study. One, $2,000 scholarship will be awarded annually.
Leonard & Vivian Nelson Ag Scholarship – Family members established this scholarship in memory of Leonard and Vivian Nelson to benefit agricultural students. One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in an agriculture-related field of study in their sophomore, junior or senior year of college at a college based in Illinois.
Russell & Berni Schelkopf Ag Scholarship – The Schelkopf family created this scholarship in 2022 to honor their parents, Russell and Berni, and their contributions to the agricultural industry. This scholarship is designed for a college student majoring in an ag-related field of study. One, $2,000 scholarship will be awarded annually to a sophomore, junior or senior in college.
Bob & Norma Wildenradt Ag Scholarship – Bob and Norma Wildenradt established this scholarship to benefit students majoring in an ag-related field of study in pursuit of a future career in agriculture. One $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student in their sophomore, junior, or senior year of college within the state of Illinois.
DeKalb Ag Scholarship – The DeKalb Ag Scholarship was established in tribute to the DeKalb Ag company which originated in DeKalb, Illinois. Initial donations to this scholarship were provided by the DeKalb Ag Alumni Association and members. This $1,200 scholarship is for college students in their sophomore, junior, or senior year with an agriculture-related degree and eventually a career in agriculture.
For College Juniors & Seniors
Arden & Dorothy Baie Scholarship – This scholarship was established in memory of Arden and Dorothy Baie. The Baie Scholarship is available to college juniors and seniors pursuing any field of study. Two, $1,200 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students.
Orville A. Olson Ag Scholarship – Established in memory of Orville A. Olson, this scholarship is available to college juniors and seniors majoring in an agriculture-related degree and seeking a career in a field of agriculture. One $1,200 ag scholarship will be awarded.
Robert Morley Science Scholarship – This scholarship was established in memory of Robert Morley, a former DeKalb science teacher. The $2,000 scholarship is for juniors and seniors in college majoring in a field of science. Up to seven scholarships will be given.
George W. “Bill” and Ann Marie Stanley Scholarship – To honor Bill and Ann Marie Stanley, family members created this scholarship in their memory. This scholarship is for juniors and seniors in college majoring in any field of study. One, $2,000 scholarship will be awarded annually.
For Medical Students
Medical Scholarship – The Medical Scholarship program provides funds for students pursuing medical degrees. The scholarship is available to students studying to become physicians, veterinarians, optometrists, nurses, dentists, and other medical professions. To be eligible a student must currently be in medical school, accepted to medical school or a four-year nursing program. Two, $2,000 scholarships will be awarded annually.
